By accessing or using GrocerMind ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
GrocerMind is a household food management application that helps users track pantry inventory, scan receipts, plan meals, reduce food waste, and manage grocery spending. The Service is provided free of charge during the current phase.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. One person may not maintain more than one account.
You retain ownership of all data you submit to the Service. You grant GrocerMind permission to analyze your consumption patterns to provide personalized insights including expiry predictions, meal suggestions, and spending analysis. While your identity remains private, we may share anonymized trend reports with partners (e.g., 'Popularity of low-sodium items in Shibuya') to improve product availability and local health outcomes. Individual purchase data is never shared — only aggregated, anonymized trends.
GrocerMind offers a points reward system. Points are earned through app usage and have no monetary value at this time. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the points system at any time. Points cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash.
You agree not to: use the Service for any illegal purpose; attempt to access other users' data; reverse engineer or scrape the Service; upload malicious content; create fake accounts or manipulate the points system; or use automated tools to interact with the Service.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to process receipts, estimate expiry dates, suggest recipes, and calculate your Vitality Score and Nutritional Analysis. These features are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical or dietary advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes. GrocerMind is not responsible for allergic reactions, food-borne illnesses, or adverse health effects resulting from suggested recipes, store-bought items, or nutritional recommendations. AI-generated data may contain errors — always verify food safety by physical inspection.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. GrocerMind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
The Service may display Sponsored Recommendations or Affiliate Links from partner brands and retailers. We prioritize your health and will only display partner products that meet our internal quality standards. Sponsored content will always be clearly labeled. If you purchase a product through an affiliate link, we may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Sponsored product recommendations will never replace organically recommended products unless the sponsored product has an equal or higher Vitality Score.
